There once was a girl called Aali
Who love to ride a Harley
She tripped over a rock
And had a big knock
So now she can't go to Bali
There once was a lady called Sue
And her favourite word was yahoo
She saw a cat
Gave it a hat
but tripped over a lump of poo
There once was a lady called Anne
Who met a very handsome man
So she asked for a kiss
But then he missed
So he actually kissed the van

100wc
My grandparents are important because they love and care for me. Since my grandparents live in Oamaru I don’t get to see them as much as I would like, so when I visit, we spend endless time with each other. Grandparents are also important because they teach us. My grandparents play games and do lots of activities with me. My favourite thing we do is go to the beach and tell stories. I know they love me and I love them. We have to spend as much time with them because they won't be around very long. I love grandparents.

Meeting Valerie Adams
Today Room 6
went to the warehouse, and we saw Valerie Adams. Michaela asked Valerie to sign
the magazine, and Anahera and I gave her a book that our class made. Valerie
asked for a photo with us and Mrs K was happy to take one. So Valerie gave me the gold
metal to hold and it felt really heavy. When we went outside we waited for
Valerie to get in her car. When she came out we cheered her on. Then she left and we
went back to school.
Blogging!
I like blogging because you can learn new stuff, play maths
and much more.
Blogging helps you with writing and learning and maths
games.
When I get a comment I feel great because people from
different countries comment and I can answer questions.
I would like my family to know what we are learning about,
what we are writing and what’s been happening.

The All Black
Surprise
Today the All Blacks came to Peter Johnstone
Park to tell us where
they were raised and other stuff about themselves. Four all blacks came,
there was Tamati Ellison, Andrew Hore, Ben Smith and Ben Franks. The All Blacks
took a photo with every school that came, St Mary's School got their photo taken second. When that was done, the All Blacks were going to sign some signatures.
They were signing lots of things rugby balls, t-shirts and some posters. I had
nothing for the All Blacks to sign so I got a poster that has all the
signatures on it and I’m going to put it on my wall in my bed room when I get
home.

The Amazing Fair
In the morning I got up as early as I could to go to the fair. I've been waiting days for this day to come. When we got there I ran to look for my friends. I hung out with Anahera. My favorite thing was the tombola because there were heaps of fantastic prizes to be won. I won a $20 voucher. After that I went to the chocolate wheel and won some cool prizes. My favorite prize was the Christmas teddy. After that I got a drink from the bungy run. At the tombola I wanted to win the M.G.P or the x.box 360. I had a good time there.

School Move
On September
people started to move our school. They are building it close to the church.
They work on it every day, sometimes Mrs K takes us over there and take photos.
In the holidays they moved room 5 and room 4 to the new school. I'm staying next
year but not every one is staying. I can’t wait to go to the new school, I
wonder what it will look like.

Aaliyah's 100WC
It’s the holidays
and me and my family are going rock climbing. We pack all our gear and hop in
the truck. We are here; we put our gear on and start climbing. We dig our shoes
in the gaps and start. Its already been half an hour and we made it up. We sit
down and eat, then started going down. Suddenly the temperature dropped and it
started to hail down. So we find a cave and we go in it. We wait for it to stop
then head down and get in the car and drive home, yay we made it home.

100 Word challenge
Looking behind me
I saw the door shut instantly. I am afraid to go any closer because its pitch
black. I felt something crawl up my back, I wonder what it is. Now I am scared.
I am too afraid to go back to bed. There was a shiver that I felt. I call for
help but no one woke up. I start walking and it’s like someone is following me.
The window is slamming shut. I slam my bed room door shut. I am running to mum
and dad’s bedroom and I am going to sleep there for the night, it is safer.

Stray
I’m all alone in
the rain. I’m freezing cold and I have no owner. They all left me at an
abandoned house. People were trying to take it down so I had to leave. I tried
to find shelter but there was no luck. I’m alone and I have not eaten anything
in days. I’m drinking water from puddles and eating out of the garbage bin. I’m
howling in the night hoping someone will find me. No one wants me because
people only want puppies and I’m an adult dog. Wait, I see people. I’m running
as fast as I can, they know that I’m an abandoned so they are letting me stay
with them.

RSA
To day we went to
the R.S.A to learn all about the war. There was a guy there from the, way back.
His name was Ray. Then I saw a guy on the wall called L. Jackson. After we had
a little look around we went in a little room where there is a lot of war stuff.
I tried on a war hat. It was very big
and it was very sore. When we left we saw a man from the war. He told us about the war as well. It was very
cool to learn about.

Butterfly miracle
On Monday the last butterfly miracle happened. The two butterflies hatched out of their chrysalis.
They were flying all round the room
Both of them were trying to fly through the windows. They stayed up on the windows. When Mrs K was getting them one of them flew straight out the door. The other one was on Josh. They were free after that.

Crunching caterpillars
This year room6 got a surprise gift that we were not expecting. When Mrs. K walked into the room a blast of excitement shot over me because I knew soon we were going to have butterflies flying round the room. Each and everyday they are going to get bigger and bigger. Soon they are going to explode in to butterflies. Let’s just hope they don't fly out and about!
